Sheikh Ahmad Jami Mausoleum is one of the beautiful attractions of Torbat-e Jam in Khorasan Razavi Province. Ahmad Jami was a famous Persian Sufi writer, mystic and poet. The mausoleum is in fact a complex which includes several monuments such as a tomb, Iwan, mosque, madrasah and dome. Some other constructions were also added to Ahmad Jami Mausoleum in different eras. A cistern, an underground mosque and some graves were later built there. The entrance door of the mausoleum made of wood is decorated with Kufic inscription, the appearance shows its history. By just looking at it, you would understand what an amazing experience is waiting for you. The most interesting section of the mausoleum is the Iwan. This Iwan is as tall as 30 meters.
